IVAN CSUDAI. New Paintings

On the contrary, he patiently cultivates and develops his author’s style of painting what is visibly proven also by this collection of paintings. The presented pictures are marked out with a precious colour scheme, well thought composition and a cultivated painter’s handwriting. Ivan Csudai belongs to those painters who do not understand a picture as a window into the world but as a new reality created by the artist’s fantasy.

That is why in his paintings the border between the natural and supernatural world can be crossed without problems. Our life in the natural world simplifies things and relations. The dreaming in a parallel world enriches them, that is why both are important because without simplifying we would not survive, without dreaming, of course also without the matter the art is made of we could die from boredom.
