LENDING OF THE WORKS OF ART

Loan policy of the City Gallery of Bratislava:

I. LOAN APPLICATION 
The loan application needs to be submitted in writing. It can be delivered by post, by fax or by e-mail to the address: gmb@gmb.sk (ask for the receipt).
If a borrower is an institution based in the territory of the Slovak Republic, the application needs to be delivered within 30 days before the day of delivery of the objects. If a borrower is a foreign institution, the application needs to be delivered within 60 days before the delivery of the objects.

The application must include:
1.    information about a borrower (name and seat, statutory representative, contact person – tel. number, bank account, Company registration number/Tax registration number),
2.    accurate specification of loan (author, title, dating, inventory number),
3.    type of loan – temporary, long-term, touring exhibition etc.,
4.    title of the exhibition,
5.    venue and date of the exhibition.

II. PROCESSION OF LOAN APPLICATIONS 
Based on the decision of the director of the City Gallery of Bratislava and the curator of the respective collection, the borrower will be provided with the official document in the form of a contract. The objects can only be delivered after the contract is signed by both parties.

The City Gallery of Bratislava reserves the right to refuse the loan application.
